A real estate tech platform enhancing property management with 3D visualization.
UrbanMix is a real estate tech platform that enhances property management by using AI-driven 3D visualization to automate workflows, simplify decision-making, and increase occupancy in multifamily buildings. UrbanMix helps developers maximize returns by efficiently retrofitting existing buildings. At Beshi, we delivered end-to-end product services for UrbanMix, including product management, product development, and design. After a few months of fast-paced work and collaboration, UrbanMix successfully raised pre-seed investment.

Project Scope
Developing the next generation of a real estate management platform by creating a collaboration tool with automated workflows and interactive 3D models. The goal is to quickly release an alpha version to attract investors and meet stakeholder expectations.

UrbanMix Platform Redesign
UrbanMix needed to revamp its platform to better suit its user personas. We prioritized familiar UI elements and design patterns to make the platform more accessible, especially for users who aren't tech-savvy, while still keeping the delicate balance between spreadsheet data to the 3D model.
Old Habits Die Hard
Users stuck to familiar spreadsheets and have a hard time to fully give up the sheet for a 3D model.
3D Model Orientation
Users found it difficult to grasp the orientation of the 3D model, which made handling 3D model as primary option confusing.
Offline Spreadsheet
Collaborating on non-cloud-based spreadsheets like Excel led to miscommunication and version conflicts, slowing down the team.
Turnover Loss
Owners lose 10% of their rental income on vacancies because of the extended time it takes to transition between tenants, from one moving out to the next moving in.
UrbanMix's founders introduced an innovative approach to property management, moving away from outdated spreadsheets to a 3D model that allows direct management of the property itself. However, through user interviews, we began to uncover the gap between this visionary concept and what could actually work in practice:

After several months of intense collaboration, UrbanMix successfully raised their pre-seed funding.
